Following its debut success in 2024, Contemporary British Printmakers returns to Delamore Arts in 2025, curated by Artizan Collective. This captivating exhibition celebrates the richness and diversity of printmaking, showcasing the unique artistry behind techniques such as woodcuts, etchings, lithography, monotypes, and more. Printmaking has been central to artistic evolution for centuries, growing from its origins as a practical tool for image reproduction into a vital creative medium. Its techniques span a thousand years of development, bridging traditional craft with modern innovation. This year’s exhibition highlights an inspiring array of works from some of the UK’s finest printmakers, inviting audiences to explore the narrative, texture, and collectability that define this art form. The magic of printmaking lies in its transformative process, where the plate or matrix serves as a liminal space, holding the work until it’s revealed in the final print. With pieces that balance traditional mastery and contemporary experimentation, the exhibition offers visitors a journey through the ever-evolving possibilities of print. Artizan Collective is delighted to continue collaborating with Delamore Arts, presenting a unique and enriching addition to their programme. Through this showcase, we hope to not only celebrate printmaking but also shine a light on the extraordinary creatives shaping its future. The exhibition will then tour to our Lucius Street gallery for the month of June.
