About the event
Join experienced ceramicist Imogen Taylor-Noble in this engaging workshop to create a one-of-a-kind tea bowl inspired by the natural materials and landscapes of Dartmoor. Using the traditional Japanese Kurinuki technique, participants will carve and shape their tea bowls from locally sourced clays and incorporate elements such as twigs from Dartmoor to add texture and character.
The workshop is suitable for both beginners and experienced ceramicists, offering hands-on guidance in an inspiring environment. All materials are included, and completed tea bowls will be fired in Imogen’s studio, with collection arranged from South Brent or postage available at an additional cost. After the session, enjoy a relaxing lunch and explore the wider offerings of Delamore Arts.
