Tea Bowls of Dartmoor - with Imogen Taylor-Noble
Create a tea bowl in a half-day workshop with Imogen Taylor-Noble. Using local clays and twigs from Dartmoor. Participants will learn the Japanese technique of Kurinuki to hand-build a unique tea bowl, includes firing.
Poison Garden: Healing or Deadly
From Artizan Collective Studio Artists
Inspired by rich rural hedgerows, Torbay's Queen of Crime, and the mysterious gardens of Torre Abbey, "Poison Gardens" brings together works from Artizan Collective Studio Artists, in an exploration of the healing and deadly properties of flora, and the awe and unease evoked by the power of nature.
Featuring a selection of paintings, ceramics, printmaking, photography and sculptural installations, the exhibition invites you to explore a garden cultivated by brush, kiln and press, and the hands of Torbay artists.
Join us Friday 11th September, 18:00-20:00 for the official launch evening, or discover the exhibition Wednesday - Sunday, 10:00-16:00.
