Closing View - English Riviera Summer Open
Time & Location
About The Event
For two months the English Riviera Summer Open has welcomed audiences to experience artworks from the South Wests renowned creative talents. As the exhibition draws to a close, we want to invite you to enjoy this incredible showcase one last time at a celebtratory evening event.
Join us on Friday 27th August for a closing view as we enter the final weekend of the exhibition.
About the Exhibition
After a year of interruption, we’ve already kicked off 2021 with some wonderful exhibitions at the Artizan Collective Gallery that have captivated audiences, but the Summer Open is probably our most anticipated calendar offer, and with a record number of submissions this year the task of selecting has been extremely tough.
Around you can be found the outcomes of that highly selective curation process, a collection that is as rich as it is diverse with works, mediums and subject matters for all tastes and budgets.
Comprising of over 400 original works from more than 75 artists, this eclectic collection brings together some of Devon’s finest professional practitioners, alongside a smaller number of works imported into the Bay from further afield, including national and international submissions.
This year the exhibition runs earlier and longer for the enjoyment of holidaymakers and visitors to Torbay, running throughout July and August for a full 8 weeks. All works on display are available to purchase, can be viewed online and couriered to anywhere in the UK upon request. If you’d like to know more about any of the works, please just ask a member of the gallery team who will be happy to assist. All proceeds raised go back to the artist, or support future creative opportunities on the English Riviera.
