About The Event
After a month of virtual activity, the English Riviera Winter Open Exhibition is about to get physical as we look forward to reopening the gallery at the end of Lockdown 2.0!
With over 100 participating artists and 300 works, on December 2nd, this needs to be the first stop on your Christmas shopping trips. This huge collection including one-off original artworks, highly collectible sculpture and unique gifts has something for everyone, whether you're looking small for a stocking filler, or going big for a christmas treat to yourself.
Opening hours have been extended to make the most of the final weeks before Christmas so you'll be able to join us seven days a week from 10am every day, and to celebrate the first week we'll also be offering you the chance to book exclusive preview sessions with us.
These sessions are by reservation only and are a chance to enjoy the exhibition at a quieter pace with access the gallery directors and visiting artists.
A limited number of tickets are available per session to meet COVID-Secure restrictions and we ask that all attendees wear a mask as per requirements when visitng a retail outlet.
Monday - Saturday: 10-5 (Wednesday 2nd - Saturday 5th 4-6 by appointment only)
Our annual winter open show has welcomed hundreds of Devon artists since it first started in 2017 as well as receiving international entries and sales. For the last two events, hosted at the Artizan Collective Gallery on Fleet Walk, we have seen submissions, audiences and sales increase year on year, and we want 2020 to be no different despite the unusual times. With the anticipation that we will now be able to open in December we have set the exhibition up in the space and as always have a dedicated exhibition page where all the work is listed and can be viewed in the meantime. We shall also be posting regular updates on our Facebook and Instagram pages (follow @artizangallery). The exhibition will now run until at least 24th December with the possibility that we can extend it into the New Year. With over 300 works of art on display and around 100 artists taking part, this is a wonderful show to enjoy during lockdown and to celebrate when we reopen.
