An Introduction to Linoprinting - with Alexandra Robb
Join artist Alexandra Robb for a lino printing one day workshop. Learn essential techniques to create a bold, one-colour linocut design of your own, with all equipment provided for this creative and engaging session.
This hands-on workshop will guide participants through the process of selecting a simple design, reversing and transferring the image to the block carving it into lino, and inking and printing the final piece.
Participants are welcome to bring ideas for their print, including drawings and reference photos. Alex will have plenty of source material to choose from too.
Note: we will be working with a printing press for this workshop, but Alex will also demonstrate how you can print at home with basic equipment .
By the end of the session, you’ll have a small edition of prints to take home, as well as your block to work on in the future..
