The Delamore Open: The Open Air Art Competition
Calling all artists, Plein Air at Delamore is a brand-new way to experience Devon’s best loved annual arts event, as we invite you to get competitive in this stunning Dartmoor setting.
Plein Air at Delamore is a three-day arts event that will open the 2026 exhibitions. With new opportunities to experience creativity at Delamore, the weekend will culminate with an Open-Air Painting Competition for artists to enjoy a day in stunning surrounds, show off their skills, and take away monetary prizes in recognition of their work.
More About the Day
The day will welcome participating artists to setup and make art anywhere in the grounds with the opportunity to have their work judged as part of a competitive open air painting event. We want to encourage artists working in any medium to take part, from the more traditional expectations of open-air painting, like oils and watercolour, through to urban, digital, sculpture, printmaking and other practices.
