About the event

Join Noah Taylor and Rachel Darbourne to explore the timeless art of cuttlefish casting. In this hands-on workshop, participants will carve and prepare cuttlefish bones, press or carve a design, and create a pouring channel. Molten metal will then be poured into the mould, resulting in a cast piece. Participants will clean and finish their creations using hand tools, completing a unique piece of jewellery.

The bronze for casting is included in the course fee. Silver casting is also available for an additional supplement based on the final weight of the piece, reflecting the current price of silver.
