About the event
Join printmaker Nigel Grist for a hands-on introduction to the art of linocut printing. This workshop is perfect for beginners and those looking to explore printmaking techniques in a relaxed and supportive environment.
During the session, you’ll design, cut, ink, and hand-print your own linocut plate, creating unique prints to take home. Nigel will also demonstrate methods for incorporating colour into your designs, which participants can try if time allows.
With clear guidance and demonstrations, Nigel ensures participants are supported at every stage of the process. Emphasis will be placed on safe working practices, and attendees will have the opportunity to produce a series of small prints.
