Delamore Artist
Jacqueline Seviour
Jacqueline Seviour is a Devon glass artist creating kiln-formed pendants and wall pieces inspired by the countyâs landscapes â from Dartmoorâs granite tors to shifting coastal skies and tidal blues. Her practice began four years ago after a single workshop led her to buy her first kiln, and she has since become absorbed in how materials behave when heat, colour and time collide. Her work is built from four layered sheets of glass using powders, frits and enamels. As the layers are assembled, each decision influences the next, guided by colour, rhythm and atmosphere. When fused and compressed in the kiln, the glass shifts and reacts, often revealing combinations that emerge through process rather than prediction. Each finished piece becomes a small world held in glass â a moment of place and quiet beauty â created to be worn, collected, and cherished.
