We are pleased to be seeking exhibitors for 2020 and 2021 at Artizan Gallery, our home exhibition venue on the English Riviera.

  What to expect in 2020 and 2021? 

We enjoyed a successful year in 2019 with the relaunching of our sister venue with Artizan Collective CIC in the heart of the Torquay town centre and a full calendar in our main space. Collaborative projects with Devon Artist Network, Devon Open Studios, Torbay Guild of Arists, Torbay Hospital's HeArTs Gallery and 9 Torbay Schools made for a busy year which saw us grow our impact in the local community.

We made significant improvements to expand our second exhibition space and have also been able to confirm the relaunch of our basement sculpture gallery for 2020.

 

With the benefit of our second venue, we're excited to have increased capacity at Artizan Gallery in 2020/2021 for commercial solo, group and open shows throughout the year. 

We're currently seeking interested exhibitors for 2020 as well as advance enquiries for 2021 to help us curate a two year programme that celebrates a diverse range of mediums and art forms.

Our central aim is to ensure a broad spectrum of art styles and backgrounds through exhibitions that can represent local, national and international artists from all backgrounds and create an engaging and inspiring programme for Torbay audiences. All work will be considered, regardless of its commerciality, on the basis of the potential contribution it can make to this activity.

 

All exhibitions can be operated on a commercial or non-commercial basis, though additional fees apply for the latter. Whilst the space is primarily suited to the display of 2D, wall-hung work, it also works exceptionally well for exhibitions which draw together 2D and 3D work to compliment each other, and Artizan also welcomes proposals for pure 3D/sculptural shows.

 

Proposals can be made either by solo or group exhibitors, or curators looking to lead an exhibition of other artists work or an open call. Fees, Prices & Discounts

MAIN GALLERY
Low Season (Dec-Feb): 
£195/week for 2 weeks, 35% commission
£175/week for 3 weeks or more (up to 4 weeks), 25% commission

 

Mid Season (Mar-Apr // Oct-Nov):
£220/week for 2 weeks, 35% commission
£200/week for 3 weeks or more (up to 4 weeks), 25% commission

 

High Season (May-Sept):
£250/week for 2 weeks, 35% commission
£220/week for 3 weeks or more (up to 4 weeks), 25% commission

When booked with MAIN GALLERY - £75/week same commission
When booked separately - £125/week 30% commission

BASEMENT GALLERY
When booked with MAIN GALLERY - £75/week same commission
