PLEASE NOTE: This course can either be booked as a single full day course or as a two-day course, with the second day being run six days later.

This immersive bronze casting workshop introduces participants to the lost wax process and ceramic shell mould making, culminating in a live bronze pour.

On Day 1, participants will create wax models, learn about spruing, and apply the first coat of ceramic shell to their moulds. Subsequent coats will be applied by the instructors during the week in preparation for the final day.

On Day 2, participants will witness the live bronze pour, followed by cleaning and finishing their pieces. This includes cutting off sprues, sandblasting, and applying hot patina and wax for a professional finish. For those unable to attend the secoond day of the course,  the instructors offer a finishing service, including UK courier delivery and photo documentation of the process.
