YOUR YEAR TO MAKE ART HAPPEN...

2018 has been a huge year for arts and culture in Torbay, one which has been marked by excitement, challenge and innovation.

At Artizan, we worked hard to maintain our position as a central player in the efforts which are driving our three towns to be better and aim higher when it comes to celebrating creativity.

We welcomed new partners into our space and saw others flourish in an atmosphere of growing positivity towards cultural engagement.

SHOWCASE

2019 is set to be another great step for Torbay with new and existing creative organisations already showing their commitment for continued proactivity in the year ahead.

At Artizan, we're excited to be offering our space in new and exciting ways as we build on our 2018 work which welcomed curators and programmers into our space to develop shows with their own unique voice.

Our 2019 calendar will prioritise this work and we are excited to welcome proposals from artists and creatives to shape this programme.

Exhibit With Us

After a successful year in 2018 which has seen the gallery expand its work with a series of well-received solo and group shows, curated open exhibitions, a headline Summer Exhibition for Torbay, and collaboration on a new art fair in association with Torquay Boys’ Grammar School, 2019 promises to see Artizan reach new audiences through its main programme.

With the return of several of the Gallery’s popular annual opportunities now calendared, Artizan is seeking applications for solo and group shows which will compliment its offer for 2019.
